Product Description
VERO C1008 [Vero E6] Cells are an adherent, epithelial-like cell line derived as a clone from VERO 76 cells, originating from adult female monkey kidney tissue. The cells are suitable for a wide range of cell culture and virology research applications and are maintained at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO₂. The recommended culture medium is MEM (ATCC modified) supplemented with 10% Nutrient and 1% Supplement. The cells are supplied at 1 × 10⁶ cells/vial × 2 vials and should be stored in liquid nitrogen at −150°C to −196°C for long-term cryopreservation. The cell line is classified as BSL-1.
