Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution, 100× is a concentrated antibiotic solution designed to help prevent microbial contamination in cell culture. It contains 10 kU/mL Penicillin G and 10 mg/mL Streptomycin sulfate, providing antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The solution is animal-origin-free, sterile-filtered, and supplied as a ready-to-dilute liquid concentrate. It has negative bacterial, fungal, and mycoplasma detection results, with an endotoxin level of <3 EU/mL. The product is supplied in a 125 mL format and should be diluted to the desired working concentration before use and stored at −5 to −20°C protected from light.
